SENIOR YEAR (1996-97) - Served as a co-captain as Clarkson posted the third most wins in school history with a 27-10 overall record and won its seventh ECAC Regular Season crown with a 17-5 conference mark … The second-leading scorer on the Knights' top rated ECAC offense with 57 points on 19 goals and 35 assists … One of the most tenacious defensive-forwards in the country, who also rated among the most dangerous offensive threats in Division I averaging 1.54 points per game … Led Clarkson's penalty-killing unit, which ranked among the best in the country (.89% 190-214) … Tallied nine power play goals, one shorthanded marker and one game-winning goal along with a +18 plus/minus rating … Named an ECAC Honorable Mention All-Star … Selected to the ECAC Championship All-Tournament Team and was invited to participate in the ECAC/HEA Senior All-Star Game … Was chosen as the recipient of Clarkson's Unsung Hero and Mike Morrison Coaches Awards … Gained ECAC Weekly Honor Roll mention four times (11/11, 1/27, 2/10, 2/24) … Recorded four two-goal games … Posted two goals and two assists in Knights' 8-3 triumph over St. Lawrence (1/25) … Scored twice and added one assist in final collegiate game - NCAA East Regional game, 5-4 loss to Colorado College (3/22).
JUNIOR YEAR (1995-96) - Was fourth on the Knights in scoring with 28 points on 14 goals and 14 assists through 38 games. Emerged as a top offensive threat in postseason play, scoring eight points, including six goals .... Tallied Clarkson's first goal and added an assist in the 6-1 victory over Western Michigan (3/22) in the first round of the NCAA East Regional ... Recorded five goals in the ECAC quarterfinal round sweep in Brown, including a career-high four goals in the 5-3 win over the Bears (3/8) in the first game of the series … Scored come-from-behind game winning goal with an unassisted shorthanded effort in Knights' first victory of the season, a 5-3 thriller over BGSU (11/4) … Scored five goals in a four-game stretch in early December, including his second shorthanded goal of the year in 7-1 win at Rensselaer (12/1) … Tallied two goals and one assist in 4-2 win over Harvard (12/9) … Had one goal and one assist in 7-2 win over Dartmouth (1/19) … Scored CU's first goal in 4-3 win at Dartmouth (2/3) … Recipient of Clarkson's Unsung Hero Award … Named to ECAC Weekly Honor Roll three times (11/6, 12/11, 3/11).
SOPHOMORE YEAR (1994-95) - Led the Knights' stingy penalty killing unit and scored three shorthanded goals in two games, one in a 3-3 tie at Union (11-12) and two in an 11-1 win over Princeton (11/18) … Recorded 19 points overall on eight goals and 11 assist through 34 games. … Notched three points (1-2) in 9-2 triumph over arch-rival St. Lawrence (12/10) … After sitting out three games with a groin pull, he came back in his next game and recorded one goal and one assist in 3-2 victory at Yale … Tallied one goal in 5-4 win at Harvard (3/4).
FRESHMAN YEAR (1993-94) - Clarkson's top rookie scorer with 25 points on six goals and 19 assists … Named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team … Recorded one assist for his first collegiate point in season-opening 4-3 overtime win against Boston College (10/30) … Tallied his first collegiate goal vs Rensselaer (11/12) … Had one power play goal … Posted seven multiple-point games … Scored a goal in four consecutive games in mid-November.
BEFORE CLARKSON - One of the premier prep school players from Northwood in 1992-93 … Scored 40 goals and 45 assists for a team-high 85 points in 36 games for coach Tom Fleming's squad … MVP of the Northwood and Hamilton Tournaments … Skated for the Midget AAA Lac St. Louis Lions in 1991-92 where he led the team in scoring with 90 points (35-55).
