Five members of the Clarkson University Softball team were rewarded for their excellence on the field and in the classroom as the 2023-24 College Sports Communicator Academic All-District teams were announced.

The 2024 Academic All-District® Softball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletics and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Selections must have a 3.50 grade-point average or better with at least sophomore athletic and academic standing to be considered. Additionally, nominees must compete in at least 90% of athletic competitions, or start 66% of a program's games.

Senior Katy Aldous and juniors Elizabeth Greco, Bridget Kerwin, Zoey Kovach, and Emma Sabourin were chosen for the CSC Academic All-District nods.

Senior Katy Aldous, a Mechanical Engineering major, was chosen as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star as an outfielder, hitting .327/.385/.400 in 36 games. She led the team in batting average and runs scored, and was the only player in the Liberty League to steal 10 bases or more (13) without being caught.

Junior Elizabeth Greco, a Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering double major, batted .286/.333/.316 in 34 contests this past season. She ranked second on the team in runs batted in (18) and was third in hits (28).

Junior Bridget Kerwin, a Chemical Engineering major, hit .247/.337/.318 through 34 games in 2024. She was third on the team in runs scored (15) while playing a new spot on the diamond, spending the season holding down first base.

Junior Zoey Kovach, an Engineering & Management major, batted .250/.318/.292 in 34 games behind the plate. A two-time Liberty League All-Star, Kovach was the hardest player to strike out for the Knights, fanning just nine times in well over 100 plate appearances.

Junior Emma Sabourin, a Chemical Engineering major, hit .233/.340/.267 in 34 games while playing center field. Sabourin produced 20 hits and scored 14 times in her third season with the Knights, and in the field she was flawless once again, going 44 chances without an error, including five outfield assists.
