Â
As part of the COGO weekend, Clarkson Athletics held its first Hall of Fame induction since 2017.  A noon luncheon ceremony was the formal induction in which all the candidates were able to share some great memories and acknowledgment of their coaches, friends, and family.Â
A public ceremony was held at 5:00 pm in the new Hall of Fame area in the Cheel Commons. Â Each inductee was introduced and revealed their plaque to the public.

The inductees in order of their appearance during the luncheon were:
Bill O'Flaherty - 1971 - Hockey, Coach, Administrator
Bill's impact on Clarkson Athletics is immense, from his playing days, to a successful coaching stretch, and as an administrator as well. He oversaw the department for over a decade when athletics saw an expansion of multiple sports, helping to create a winning culture
Sara Artus '2012- Volleyball
Sara helped take the Clarkson Volleyball program from good to great, and became the program's first-ever All-American. She was a key component of the foundation to our nationally-recognized volleyball team and still is among the all-time leaders in numerous categories for this impressive program.
Tim Barcomb 2003- Baseball
The very definition of Clarkson student-athlete, Tim excelled in the classroom, leading him to his career as an Emergency Room Doctor. The three-time all-region standout still ranks highly in virtually every hitting category and was also a three-time Academic All-American.
Robert "Soupy" Campbell - 1961 - Benefactor
An ardent supporter of Clarkson Athletics, he has had a long and impactful relationship for many of our athletic offerings over the decades. Soupy is everything that we could ever hope for in an alumnus, as after his playing days his engagement with Clarkson University never waned.
Dan Gasbarre- 1988 - Soccer
One of the greatest goal scorers in program history, Dan was certainly a highlight of every opponent's scouting report, but few could stop the scoring juggernaut. The four-time conference all-star set standards that still stand decades later.
David Kinney - 2012 - Baseball
One of the most feared hitters in the region and also a steady pitcher, David earned All-American honors on two occasions and was also chosen as the New York Region Player of the Year in 2011, helping the team to a pair of conference titles and the ensuing NCAA Tournament berths.
Mike Smith - 1968 - Hockey
Already a member of other Halls of Fame, Mike enjoyed an impressive run of several front offices across the NHL and he is still making an impact on the league with his expertise in analytics. Additionally, he is known as a pioneer in bringing Russian players to the NHL, further helping the international draw of the league today.
Mel Tomalty - 1960 - Hockey and Lacrosse
For six decades, Mel had an impact on numerous levels of sports, as a student-athlete, professional athlete, coach, and later as an official. A pillar in the Potsdam community, Mel has left his mark not only on Clarkson but on the local sports scene.  Â
Joe Zebrowski - 2005 - Lacrosse
And finally, we congratulate Joe Zebrowski. An exceptional goaltender for the Golden Knights during the early 2000s, Joe led the nation in goals-against average and backboned a defense that helped Clarkson reach the NCAA Tournament on two occasions.
