FULL RESULTS - 2016 NCAA Atlantic Regional

Hull took 64th out of 303 runners with a time of 22 minutes, 38.8 seconds on the 6,000-meter course. Sophomore Alison Davis was just under 10 seconds behind Hull with a time of 22:48.7, good enough for 78th place overall. The next three scoring runners for Clarkson all finished in the top half of the runners, with sophomore Sarah Duclos coming in 115th in 23:20.6 and freshman Emilee Carpenter crossing the finish line 1.5 seconds later in 23:22.1 for 118th overall. Freshman Rachael Jones rounded out the scoring for Clarkson as she took 146th in 23:54.5, though the score wouldn't have changed at all if she had fallen off since teammate Hannah Phillips came in 147th just half a second later in 23:55.0. Ellen Jaworski finished off Clarkson's top seven by coming 172nd in 24:19.7.

Two late surges by Clarkson's top male runners provided the Knights with three runners in the top 100 and two in the top 75. Patrizio came in 62nd over the course of 8,000 meters, finishing his race in 25:53.0. Over the last mile, Patrizio improved his standing by eight spots. While that was a solid sprint to the finish, senior Alexander DeWitt was even more impressive as he passed 22 runners in the last mile to take 73rd overall with a time of 26:02.5. Junior AJ Beers wasn't far behind, taking 77th in 26:04.9. It would be a while before the finish line would see another Clarkson runner, but they came quickly in progression. Junior Kris Lizins took 118th in 26:33.8, sophomore Austin Smith was 122nd in 26:34.9 and senior Stephen Paddock placed 123rd in 26:35.6 to again hold Clarkson's score. Junior Jacob Erdman was the final runner of Clarkson's top seven as he finished just outside the top half of competitors by coming in 153rd out of 303 runners in 27:09.6.
