Another strong game by junior Emily Bojarski (Syracuse, NY) wasn’t enough for the Clarkson University Women’s Lacrosse team to pull out a victory down south as the Golden Knights lost to Geneseo State 20-8 at Disney's Wide World of Sports complex in Orlando, Fla on Thursday afternoon.
The Golden Knights, at 0-2, return home on Sunday to host Elmira in a 2:00 p.m. game at SUNY Potsdam.
Bojarski scored three goals and one assist for Clarkson, which fell into an 11-1 deficit after the opening 30 minutes. Senior Alicia Chace (Cortland, NY) scored two goals and one assist, while junior Alyssa Breed (Macedon, NY) recorded one goal and two assists.
Shauna Leonard led Geneseo with four goals.
Seniors Lindsay Walker (Syracuse, NY) and Alexis Miller (Vestal, NY) chipped in one goal apiece for the Golden Knights.
