While Clarkson University spring sports teams were finally able to compete in optimal seasonal weather conditions over the weekend, numerous other Golden Knight student-athletes were involved in community related activities.
Members of Clarkson athletic teams participated in the Potsdam Community Clean Up on Saturday morning and also hosted a Special Olympics Sports Clinic Day at the University’s Indoor Recreation Center (IRC).
The Golden Knights Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) also helped out with Sunday’s Clarkson Community 5K Walk/Run, which raised money for both Citizens Against Violent Acts (CAVA) and The Donna M. Crandall Memorial Foundation for Cystic Fibrosis.
