Potsdam, NY - Sean Burton scored 22 points and dished out six assists as Ithaca College doubled up Albany College of Pharmacy 100-50 in the consolation game of the Casella Waste Services North Country Tip-Off Classic on Saturday afternoon at Clarkson University's Alumni Gymnasium.

The Bombers evened their season mark at 1-1 with the win, while the Panthers dropped to 2-5 overall.

Ithaca controlled the game from the start, hitting a 3-pointer on its opening possession. Though the Panthers kept the game close for the first 10 minutes, Ithaca started to pressure Albany defensively and effectively ended any hope of the Panthers pulling out a victory.

Burton led all scorers with 22 points, shooting 8-for-12 from the floor and 4-for-7 from beyond the 3-point arc. Sean Lahey and Dominic Scanlon each added 12 points for the Bombers, while Will gaskins nearly produced a double-double in the second half, scoring 10 points to go along with eight rebounds in just 10 minutes. Bryan Jones led the Panthers with 12 points and Vartan Balian came through with 11 points.

Ithaca dominated on the glass with 57 rebounds, including 20 offensive boards.
