Rochester, NY - It may not have been the ideal situation for her to move up, but Catie Reed's (Lafayette, NY) second half goal pushed her into a second-place tie on the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team's all-time scoring list as the Golden Knights concluded the 2007 season with a 4-1 loss at St. John Fisher on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights finished the campaign with a record of 3-11-2 while St. John Fisher moved up to 5-11-1.

The Cardinals took little time to get on the scoreboard with a goal in the 10th minute. Scores in the 38th and 48th minute made the going even tougher for the Golden Knights as they fell behind 3-0, but Reed's score at 53:01 in the second half cut the St. John Fisher advantage to two. Another goal from the Cardinals 10 minutes later ended any hope for a Clarkson come back.

Reed's goal was her second of the season, giving her two goals and four assists for eight points, breaking a three-way tie that she had in third place on Clarkson's all-time scoring list. With the goal, she finished her career with 14 goals and 18 assists for 46 points, tying 1992 graduate Chris Rovegno. Reed and Rovegno trail only Dawn Onorato (60 career points) on the all-time list at Clarkson. Reed is the school's all-time leader in assists.

Meagan Emlaw (Norfolk, NY) made seven saves for the Golden Knights while Ashley Martin matched her with seven stops of her own for the Cardinals. St. John Fisher held a 24-9 advantage in shots and a 5-2 lead in corner kicks.
