CLARKSON FALLS in LACROSSE ACTION in FLORIDA

The Clarkson University Men’s Lacrosse team lost its first game during its spring trip, falling 10-3 to McDaniel College on Monday in Red Bug Lake Park, Sanford, Florida. The Golden Knights are back in action on Wednesday when they play Amherst College in Orlando.
 
Clarkson got off to a slow start against the Green Terror, falling behind 5-1 after the first quarter and 7-1 at the half. The Knights out scored McDaniel 2-0 in the third, but could not sustain the attack as the Green Terror tallied all three goals over the final 15 minutes.
 
Juniors TJ Drake (Rochester, NY), Brian Hanlon (Marcellus, NY) and Jon Parks (Canton, NY) scored for the Knights. Senior Joe Zebrowski (Liverpool, NY) made eight saves in the Clarkson goal.
 
The Knights out shot McDaniel 34-25, but the Green Terror controlled groundballs 31-25.
