The Clarkson University Men’s and Women’s Alpine Ski teams claimed first place at the Hamilton Invitational at Labrador on Sunday.
Freshman Kurt Naser (Arlington, MA) won the men’s slalom, followed by senior Josh Edlinger (Margaretville, NY) in second. Edlinger, who also finished second in the giant slalom, finished first over in combined events for the third consecutive week. Naser, who was sixth in the giant slalom, was third combined.
Senior Beth Davis (Marshfield, VT) won the women’s giant slalom and finished first overall combined. She also placed second in the slalom behind Golden Knights sophomore Krista Hoisington (Kingfield, ME). Hoisington, who placed third in the giant slalom, was second combined. Freshman Mallory Gilmore (Woodbury, CT) was second in the giant slalom, third in the slalom and third combined.
