KNIGHTS DROP TO BEARS IN THREE GAMES

Potsdam, NY - Senior setter Suzanne Clarvoe (Hartwick, NY) came through with 17 assists and 13 digs, but the Clarkson University Volleyball team lost for the fourth time in five matches, falling to Potsdam State in three straight games at Maxcy Hall.

The Golden Knights dropped to 15-11 overall and finish out the regular season on Saturday when they host St. Lawrence University.

Clarkson, which lost its match on Tuesday 30-20, 30-25, 30-28, was swept by the Bears for the first time since the 1999 season, back when the 15-point system was used. Sophomore libero Katie Benson (Ashton, MD) came through with 19 digs for the Golden Knights while Claire Horvath (South Bend, IN) produced seven kills, 11 digs and three solo blocks. Katie Kreilach (West Leyden, NY) also added six kills and two solo blocks for the Knights.
