UNION HOLDS OFF CLARKSON IN 2ND HALF FOR 16-6 WIN

Schenectady, NY - Senior Allison Morlock (Lebanon, NH) made 23 saves over 60 minutes as the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) game to Union College Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights fell to 2-4 overall and 0-4 in the UCAA while Union improved to 6-2 and 4-0. Clarkson will face St. Lawrence at 4:00 pm Tuesday, April 6th at Hantz Field.

Trailing 8-5 at the half, Clarkson struggled to continue their offensive push in the second half, recording just one more goal in the final 30 mnutes as Union extended their lead to double digits. Junior Abigail Unangst (Liverpool, NY), sophomore Lindsay Roberts (Averill Park, NY) and freshman Lindsey Grigg (Watertown, NY) each scored two goals to lead the Golden Knights, while junior Ashley Edson (Lebanon, NY) added an assist.

Molly Flanagan led Union with seven goals and an assist, scoring the first four goals for the Dutchmen in the second half.
