FAUCETT AND MORRIS EACH WIN THREE EVENTS IN LOSS TO OSWEGO

Oswego, NY - Senior Jen Faucett (Charlton, NY) and junior Sarah Morris (Amherst, NY) each won two individual events and swam on a winning relay but the Clarkson University Women's Swim team fell to Oswego State 113-89, while the men's team lost 116-84.

Faucett won the 200 freestyle in 2:05.52 and the 200 butterfly in the 2:25.84 while Morris came in first in the 200 indivudal medley (2:21.01) and 200 breaststroke (2:40.12). Her time in the 200 breaststroke was the second fastest in school history. Both also swam on the winning 400 medley relay. The Golden Knights won seven of the 11 events, but the Lakers picked up points with their depth.

On the men's side, senior Matt Szrama (Orchard Park, NY) won the 200 individual medley (2:03.51) and 100 freestyle (48.95) to lead Clarkson.
