Canton, NY - Senior Shannon Kentner (Waddington, NY) recorded 13 kills, 4 aces and 3 blocks as the Clarkson University Volleyball team picked up its 20th win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of St. Lawrence Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Knights improved to 20-9 overall with their fifth straight win and ninth win in their last 10 matches. The team will now wait to see if it will be selected for the New York State tournament for the second straight season.

Clarkson, which won the three games by scores of 30-28, 30-25, 30-22, has now beaten the Saints five straight times this season without dropping a single game.

Sophomore Claire Horvath (South Bend, IN) added 13 kills and junior Stephanie Thornton (Corning, NY) produced 11 kills and 11 digs. Junior Suzanne Clarvoe (Hartwick, NY) added 33 assists and six kills while senior Heather Weldon (Harriman, NY) contributed a team-high 14 digs and two aces.
