Guided by 14th-year head coach Mick Maguire, the Clarkson University Swim teams have posted competitive times in the pool and have attained out-standing achieve-ments in the classroom along with making substantial contributions in the community. The Golden Knights are traditionally among the conference leaders in academic all-star honors and this past winter placed nine swimmers on the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) All-Academic team.

The Knights featured five student-athletes on the men’s team and four on the women’s squad. Graduated seniors Jody Fronheiser and John Doncet, Rob Mason (Malone, NY) and Jeff Kibler (Ashville, NY) as juniors, and Pete Johnson (Watertown, NY) in his sophomore year each received recognition for their outstanding effort.
