AT CLARKSON—Emerged as a walk-on candidate in his freshman year into a key performer on the Clarkson blueline ... Helped the Golden Knights compile 75 victories from 2005-2009, back-to-back 20-win campaigns (2006-07, 2007-08) for the first time in 10 seasons, an ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship (2007) and a conference regular season title (2008) along with making two consecutive showings in the NCAA Tournament (2007, 2008) for the first time since the late 1990s.
SENIOR YEAR (2008-09)—Was the Knights’ steadiest player on the blueline, skating in 33 games … He recorded five points, including his
first two collegiate goals, coming in back-to-back wins on the road at Yale (1/16) and Brown (1/17) … Named to ECAC Hockey weekly Honor Roll (1/19) … Honored with Clarkson Mike Morrison Coaches’ Award for teamwork, hustle and dedication.
JUNIOR YEAR (2007-08)—Saw action in 34 games on the blueline, including both NCAA East Regional contests … Recorded six assists and a +7 plus/minus rating … Helped set up overtime game-winner in 4-3 victory at Brown (2/15) for last point … Four of his assists came in wins … He also set up tying goal in 3-3 draw against Cornell in consolation game (12/29) at the Florida College Classic … Was called for three minor penalties.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2006-07)—Skated in 33 of the 34 regular season game games, recording eight assists and a +7 rating after posting just one assist in 26 games as a freshman walk-on last season … Missed postseason play while recovering from mononucleosis ...
