  • AT CLARKSON—A four-year standout at defense who help lead the Green and Gold resurgence which lifted the Clarkson Hockey program back among the nation’s elite … Helped the Golden Knights compile 78 victories from 2004-2008, two back-to-back 20-win campaigns (2006-07, 2007-08) for the first time in 10 seasons, an ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship (2007) and a conference regular season title (2008) along with making two consecutive showings in the NCAA Tournament (2007, 2008) for the first time since the late 1990s … An All-America and ECAC All-Star who capped off his collegiate career by helping to lead the Knights to one of the most successful seasons in the program’s 86-year history in 2007-08 with a 22-13-4 overall record, a first-place 15-4-3 ECAC Hockey mark and Clarkson’s first NCAA Tournament victory since 1996 … Tallied 73 career points on 16 goals and 57 assists through 150 games.


    SENIOR YEAR (2007-08)—A Second-Team RBK All-America … First-Team ECAC Hockey All-Star defenseman … A NCAA East Regional Team selection … Clarkson’s Richmond Unsung Hero Award winner … Boasted the best plus/minus overall among all ECAC Hockey players at +22 … Anchored Clarkson’s stingy defensive effort – ranked 3rd in the league – as the Knights’ lone senior on the blueline … Led the Clarkson defensemen in scoring with 22 points on five goals and 17 assists … Scored twice on the power play, once shorthanded and recorded seven multiple-point games … Tallied 10 points (2-8) in last eight games of regular season to help Clarkson win the ECAC Regular Season Championship … Named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.
     

     

    JUNIOR YEAR (2006-07)—Clarkson’s leading scorer from the blueline with 19 points on seven goals and 12 assists in 38 games … Opened scoring in quarterfinal-series clinching 2-1 win against Harvard (3/10) with third power-play goal of the season ... Had one assist in 5-4 semifinal win over Dartmouth (3/16) ... Scored one goal and one assist in the regular-season ending 4-1 win at Quinnipiac (2/24) ... Had eight points (3-5) in last 11 games ... Netted game-winner in 5-3 victory over Brown (2/9), followed by two assists in 5-1 win vs Yale (2/10) … Scored a power-play goal and two assists in 4-1 win at Yale (12/1) … Tallied one of the Knights’ six shorthanded markers on the year in 6-3 win at Dartmouth (11/4) … Posted a +13 plus/minus.

     

    SOPHOMORE YEAR (2005-06)—One of Clarkson’s offensive go-to guys on the blueline and quarterback of the Knights’ top power-play unit … Second on Clarkson in scoring from the blueline with 19 points, including 17 assists … Last point was an assist in 5-0 win over Princeton (3/4) in Game 2 of the ECACHL First-Round series at Cheel Arena ... Recorded first career shorthanded marker in 4-3 victory over Harvard (11/25) … Named to the ECACHL weekly Honor Roll once (10/17).

     

    FRESHMAN YEAR (2004-05)—The Knights’ leading scorer from the blueline with 13 points (2-11) playing in all 39 games ... Began collegiate career with two assists in second game, a 6-4 loss at UMass (10/9) ... First collegiate goal was the game-winner in 5-3 victory at Wayne State (10/17) … Opened the scoring in 3-1 victory over Ohio State (12/11) with a power-play marker to help snap a seven-game winless skid … Posted three assists in late-January weekend road trip to central New York, including two helpers in 3-1 win at nationally-ranked Colgate (1/29) … Last point was an assist in 4-3 overtime triumph at Union in the deciding Game 3 of the ECACHL playoff series (3/6) … Named to the ECACHL weekly Honor Roll once (12/13).

     

    BEFORE CLARKSON—Second-team Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL) All-Star for the 2004 Eastern Canadian Champion Nepean Raiders, coached by Chris Byrne ... Runner-up CJHL Top Defenseman ... Skated in 55 games and scored 13 goals, including eight power-play tallies, and 26 assists for 39 points in 2003-04 ... Tied for first among CJHL defensemen in playoff scoring ... Earned Most Sportsmanlike Player Award at 2004 Canadian National Junior A Championship (Royal Bank Cup).
