SOPHOMORE YEAR (2004-05)—Played in 10 games, starting nine … Posted a .894 save percentage and a 2.98 goals against average en route to a 2-6-1 record … First appearance was in 5-4 loss at Wayne State (10/17) where he made 18 saves while allowing five goals ... Made three consecutive starts, including two against nationally-ranked foes, late in 2004 portion of the schedule ... Posted a career-high 37 saves in 3-1 loss at UNH (12/3), followed by 18 stops in 3-2 loss at Lowell (12/4) ... Made 27 saves in 3-3 overtime tie against Ohio State (12/10) to help Clarkson stop a five-game losing skid … Opened 2005 with four straight starts … Made 30 saves in 8-1 victory over Yale (1/1) in consolation game of the Badger Showdown in Wisconsin for first win of the season ... BEFORE CLARKSON—Runner-up for the EJHL’s Top Goaltender Award in 2002-03 playing for the Boston Junior Bruins, coached by Peter Masters … Named a first-team Northern Division All-Star … Posted a 30-8-3 record, five shutouts, a 2.47 goals against average and a .898 save percentage in his second year with the Junior Bruins … Earned numerous Hockey Night in Boston honors from 1997-2002.
