SOPHOMORE YEAR (2002-03)—Named a First-Team ECAC All-Star ... Became the first ever Golden Knight defenseman to lead the Green and Gold in scoring. The league's top offensive threat from the blueline with 33 points on 13 goals and 20 assists through 33 games ... Also led Clarkson in plus/minus at +12, in power play goals with six and was tied for game-winning goals with three ... Closed out the 2002-03 campaign with a six-game point-scoring streak (4-3-7) ... Posted eight multiple-point games ... Tallied one goal and three assists in 7-5 win over Dartmouth (1/10) ... Scored two power-play goals and added one assist along with strong defensive play in 4-0 shutout over Providence (11/29) ... Named to ECAC weekly Honor Roll four times (12/2, 1/13, 2/10, 3/3) ... FRESHMAN YEAR (2001-02)—Established himself as a rising star in the ECAC as a talented offensive-defenseman … After a slow start to his collegiate career, he emerged as one of the Knights’ go-to players … Tallied nine goals and 11 assists through 35 games … A top power-play specialist, tying for the team-lead in man-advantage markers with six… Figured in on all of Clarkson’s scoring in the 3-1 first-game Quarterfinal Series win over St. Lawrence (3/8) with a power-play goal and two assists … Also tallied one assist in the 6-1 victory over St. Lawrence (3/9) to earn mention on ECAC Honor Roll … Scored a power-play goal and one assist in ECAC Tournament consolation game against Rensselaer (3/16) … Named Rookie of the Week after scoring a goal and an assist in 3-1 win at Princeton (2/2) … Recorded a power-play goal and one assist in 4-3 OT loss at Rensselaer (2/9) … Posted two assists in 8-5 win over nationally-ranked UNH (12/7) … Named to ECAC’s All-Rookie Team and selected as Clarkson’s Rookie of the Year.

BEFORE CLARKSON—Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League Defenseman of the Year playing for the Cobourg Cougars in 1999-2000 ... Scored 15 goals and 21 assists for 36 points and posted 46 penalty minutes in 28 games during the 2000-01 season at Cobourg.
