SENIOR YEAR (2001-02)—
One of the top defenseman in the country … Helped to lead the Golden Knights back to ECAC Tournament semifinal round after a two-year absence by serving as a co-captain … A four-year veteran, who played an important role as the Golden Knights posted an 80-52-13 record, made four appearances in the ECAC Tournament, including three trips to Lake Placid, two ECAC Regular Season titles (1999, 2001) and a league tournament championship (1999) along with one NCAA Regional appearance (1999) … First-team ECAC All-Star and ECAC All-Tournament selection … Third for the Knights in scoring with 31 points on seven goals and a team-high 24 assists through 37 games … Led the Green and Gold in plus/minus at +18 … Had five power-play goals and one game-winner … Set-up four goals, two in each game, in the ECAC Quarterfinal sweep of St. Lawrence (3/8-9) to earn ECAC Honor Roll selection for the sixth time of the season … Had nine multiple-point games … Scored a career-high two goals, both on the power play, along with one assist in 5-0 win over Miami (10/19) … Also tallied twice in Knights' 7-5 come-from-behind victory at Yale (2/1) … Recorded three points (1-2), including the game-winner in 7-6 overtime victory against St. Lawrence (11/3), and in 4-3 ot loss at RPI (2/9) … Had two assists in 8-5 win over nationally ranked UNH (12/7) … Posted 86 career points (14-72) through 142 games.

JUNIOR YEAR (2000-01)—An unsung hero on the blueline … Steady contributor with four goals and 18 assists for 22 points ... Ranked among the team leaders in plus/minus at +14 … Scored one goal and two assists in 5-4 victory at Harvard (2/16) … Tallied one goal and one assist in the 4-4 tie at Miami (10/14) and in 5-4 victory at MSU Mankato (1/6) ... Recorded two assists along with a solid defensive zone effort in the 6-0 shutout over Yale (2/2) ... Named to ECAC weekly Honor Roll (10/16).

SOPHOMORE YEAR (1999-00)—Steady defenseman who was a mainstay on the Knights’ blueline brigade … Leading point scorer on defense with 20 points and a top playmaker with 17 assists through 34 games and 30 through 71 career games … Has three career goals, all as a sophomore … Tallied first career goal and one assist in 4-0 win over Yale (2/5) … Also had one goal and one assist in 5-4 victory over Dartmouth (3/3) … Tallied two power play markers and led team lead in plus/minus at +7 … Named to ECAC Honor Roll twice (12/6, 2/7) ... Was honored with Clarkson's Mike Morrison Coaches Award for team-work, hustle and dedication.

FRESHMAN YEAR (1998-99)—Named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team ... A first-year defenseman, who played in every situation for the Knights ... Worked the point on the power play, was an effective penalty killer and was on the ice late in the game with the final score on the line ... Played in all 37 games and recorded 13 assists as the Knights' top scoring freshman rearguard ... Posted a four-game point-scoring (0-4) streak at the start of Clarkson's 13-game winning stretch ... Paired up with Kent Huskins on the blueline ... Had a +6 plus/minus rating.

BEFORE CLARKSON—Was one of the premier defenseman in the SJHL, while playing for North Battleford, coached by Blaine Gusdal ... Tallied five goals and and 10 assists in 1997-98 ... Named Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Defenseman PERSONAL—Son of Linda and Neil Ellis-Toddington ... Married in the summer of 1998 to Cheryl McMillan ... Born September 4, 1979 ...
