CLARKSON ATHLETIC HALL of FAME

The Clarkson University Athletic Hall of Fame was established at the University to recognizes those individuals, who either through participation, support, or interest, have made outstanding contributions to Clarkson athletics, and who have helped bring recognition, honor and distinction to the University. The inaugural class, consisting of 15 members was inducted in the Fall of 1992.  


Clarkson Inducts Five into Athletic Hall of Fame on July 9, 2010

Five former Golden Knight athletic standouts were inducted into the Clarkson University Athletic Hall of Fame this July during the University’s annual Summer Reunion. Clarkson honored Art Smith ’56, John Babcock ’62, Russ Hall ’69, Paul Bovee ’72 and Katie Johnson ’00. Ceremonies for the seventh induction class into the Clarkson Athletic Hall of Fame took place on Friday, July 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the Camp Atrium.

The selection committee is once again asking alumni and the general public for the names of persons who have made outstanding contributions in athletics at Clarkson, including athletes, coaches, staff members, and supporters of the University’s athletic programs. Athletes are not eligible until five years after graduation and current coaches are not eligible.

Those making nominations are asked to forward to the committee any available information in support of the submission. Material will be returned to the owner upon request.
