Shannon Hopkins

Plattsburgh, NY - Sophomore Shannon Hopkins (Amsterdam, NY) was a straight-sets winner as the Clarkson University Women's Tennis team defeated Plattsburgh State 5-4 Monday afternoon for its first win of the season.

Sophomore Katelyn Hendryx (Gilmanton Iron Works, NH) and junior Meghan Jones (Lake George, NY) also won in straight sets for the Golden Knights. Hopkins and Hendryx combined for a doubles victory and Jones and Rebecca Riner (Elba, NY) also picked up a win as doubles partners.
