Everett and Reilly Earn Liberty League Weekly Swimming Honors

Sophomore Casey Everett and freshman Fiona Reilly of the Clarkson University Swimming & Diving team each earned conference honors for their performances this past weekend when the Liberty League announced its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Everett was chosen as the Liberty League Performer of the Week for the Golden Knights' men's team as he won a pair of events for the Green and Gold during the squad's tri-meet versus SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Potsdam. Everett won the 800 meter freestyle in 9:10.73 and also had the top spot in the 400 meter freestyle in 4:22.47.

Reilly was selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week for Clarkson's women's team, placing first in the 200 meter individual medley in 2:37.46 and in the 100 meter breaststroke in 1:24.16 while also swimming on one of Clarkson's victorious relay teams.

Joining their two teammates as choices for the Liberty League Honor Roll were first-year swimmer Natasha Hurff as well as first-year divers Evelyn Vieira and Gavin Cibelli.
