The Series: The matchup is a fairly new one, as the two teams have played one another twice in the last two seasons after having an initial game in 2021-22 cancelled. Clarkson won the first game by five two years ago and won by 17 last November in Utica.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-3): Junior forward Bella Doyle ranks in the top 10 in the Liberty League in virtually all categories. She is currently third in points (17.3 ppg), sixth in rebounds (6.8 rpg), tied for 10th in assists (3.2 apg), and tied for fifth in both steals (2.0 spg) and blocks (1.5 bpg). Both Cassidy Dumont and Raelin Burns have enjoyed success against the Wildcats, averaging 18.0 points per contest in the last two seasons.

Key Stats for SUNY Poly (1-4): The Wildcats' offense has struggled so far this season, topping 45 points just once in five contests and averaging less than 44 per game. The team is making only 27.0% of its field goal attempts and 21.7% from beyond the 3-point arc while committing 21.4 turnovers per game and also suffering from a rebounding deficit of 11 per contest. Fortunately for SUNY Poly, the team does force nearly as many turnovers as it commits (19.4 tpg) and has been adept at limiting its opponents to just 30.9% from the floor and 28.2% from beyond the arc.
