The Series: The Golden Knights hold an overwhelming 42-10-3 record against the Bears in 55 meetings dating back to the late 1960s. Clarkson has won five straight against Potsdam, all by shutout, including a 1-0 blanking last year when Jay Jezioro scored in the 74th minute.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-1-8): Junior Zach Shufelt may be one of the most efficient offensive players in the country. In his 759 minutes on the pitch splitting time as a starter and reserve, Shufelt has taken 10 total shots with nine making it on goal. Even more impressively, five of those have beaten the opposition's defense, as Shufelt leads the team in scoring with 11 points on five goals and one assist in 2024. His shot total leaves him well off the leader board in the Liberty League, but his five goals are tied for third in the conference.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (6-8-3): Like Shufelt, Potsdam's Justin Mossey is an efficient scorer, finding the net for eight goals on just 13 shots on goal, though his volume of shots off target (34) is considerably higher. Mossey has scored two goals in a game twice this season. Zach Cunningham is just behind Mossey in scoring with 13 points, having produced three goals himself to go along with a team-best seven assists for 13 points.
