The Series: In 35 all-time meetings, Clarkson has come away with 13 victories and a pair of ties. Skidmore broke the Golden Knights' season-opening run of clean sheets a year ago, beating the Green and Gold 1-0 at Hantz Field. The year before the two teams tussled to a 0-0 tie.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-1-0, 1-0-0 Liberty League): In six games so far, the Knights have allowed just four goals, with two of those coming on penalty kicks. Josh Morelli has allowed only one goal in four games between the posts, recording a 0.25 goals against average and .875 save percentage, while Jonathan Dereka (3-0-6), Eric McKean (2-1-5), and Nolan Grady (2-1-5) are the early standouts on offense. Clarkson has out shot opponents 98-38 and given up only 14 shots on goal thanks to the efforts of Christian Silvano, Kai Endo, and Kyle Otis.

Key Stats for Skidmore (1-4-2, 0-1-0 Liberty League): The Thoroughbreds have scored 12 goals in their seven games, but nine of them came in a lopsided win over John Jay a few weeks ago. Kamal Ibrahim was one of the top scorers in the conference a year ago with 15 goals, but he has been scored only twice this season due to being out since the third contest of the year. Nevertheless, Ibrahim is tied for the team lead in goals with Colin Goodhines (2-0-4) and Hyungbin Kim (2-2-6). The Thoroughbreds have started three different goalkeepers this year, but Luca Bravo Frederick has seen the most time, producing a 1.53 goals against average and .706 save percentage.
