Three tournaments remain on the fall schedule for the Clarkson University Golf team, but only one will be unfamiliar ground for the Golden Knights, and that will be this weekend when the Green and Gold travel back to Vermont to participate in the Castleton Invitational, held at the Rutland Country Club.

The Course (Map): The Rutland Country Club is a par-71, 6185-yard course with loads of par-fours. The course actually has just two par-five and only three par-three holes.

The Five: No individuals will be traveling outside of the team's scoring five, as junior Andrew Palmatier, sophomore Aaron Walsh, and freshmen Ryan Makowski, Eric Spoth, and Jace Dutch will be making the trip to Southern Vermont. Despite having the highest round of the 'A' team on Wednesday in Canton, Andrew Palmatier still has the lowest scoring average for the Golden Knights, as he is averaging 76.67 strokes per 18 holes, thanks to five sub-80 rounds in his six competitive rounds this fall. Eric Spoth is just behind him at 76.83 strokes per 18, thanks to a pair of 73s he has shot in his six competitive rounds. Ryan Makowski has also been below 80 in five of his six rounds and is averaging 77.5 strokes per 18. Both Aaron Walsh and Jace Dutch are averaging just above 78 strokes through six rounds this fall.
