A dozen members of the Clarkson University Men's and Women's Soccer teams were rewarded for their excellence on both the pitch and in the classroom on Tuesday as the 2023 College Sports Communicator Academic All-District teams were announced.

The 2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Selections must have a 3.50 grade-point average or better with at least sophomore athletic and academic standing to be considered. Additionally, nominees must compete in at least 90% of athletic competitions, or start 66% of a program's games.

From the Clarkson Men's Soccer program, seniors Zachary Appel and Nolan Grady were chosen, as were juniors Jack Donnelly and Logan Drake and sophomores Kyle Otis and Tayte Wong. For the Clarkson Women's Soccer program, seniors Arin Bates, Emily Colby, and Aspen Tlapa were picked along with juniors Emily Davis, Molly DiCaprio, and Chloe Hodge.

For their top tier excellence, both Nolan Grady and Molly DiCaprio moved along to the CSC National Ballot for Academic All-America consideration, which will be announced in December.
