THe ECAC has announced the Monthly Award Winners and Clarkson landed two players among the leagues best.  

Based on a 9-0-1 start and reaching #5 in the National Polls, the Clarkson Women's team has had the start to the season that is drawing the attention of the coaches and media across college hockey. 

Haley Winn has been named the ECAC Defender of the Month for October.   Winn was the Defender of the Week for 10/24 and has been one of the top point producers from the blue line this season, with 2 goals and 7 assists in 10 games.  Winn is also a +10 and is regularly on the ice late in games and on the penalty kill.

The MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month in the ECAC is Michelle Pasiechnyk.  Pasiechnyk was just named MAC Goaltending Goalie of the week for Oct. 30, based on her 1 goal allowed in two wins over the weekend to start ECAC play for the Knights and was also just named to the Hockey Commissioners Association runner up for National Goalie of the Month.  Michelle has the 2nd best goals against average in the nation among goalies with minimum 5 starts and 2nd in the nation with shutouts.   She is 7-0 in 8 starts, with a .944 save % (career best) and a .959 GAA (also a career best).
