Wednesday's tilt between St. Lawrence University and the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team may as well be the unstoppable force versus the immovable object, as one of the top offenses in the region faces one of the best defenses in the country in a Liberty League matchup in Canton, NY.

The Series: Clarkson has 13 wins in 64 meetings all-time against St. Lawrence, with the last victory coming in 2016 (1-0) at St. Lawrence. The two teams also battled to a 1-1 tie in 2019.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-1-1, 1-1-1 Liberty League): The Golden Knights finally relented last week, giving up a single goal against Skidmore College in the team's lone defeat of 2022. The Green and Gold remains at or near the top of every defensive metric in Division III, allowing only .11 goals per game, a .968 save percentage, and eight shutouts in nine contests. Clarkson was the last team in Division III to allow a goal and remains one of only three teams to give up a single goal in 2022.
