For the second straight game, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team will take on a top-25 ranked foe from the SUNYAC, facing Brockport on Wednesday afternoon at Hantz Field.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights are 0-4 all-time against Brockport, though those meetings mean very little for Wednesday's tilt. Only the juniors and seniors on either team were even born the last time the two teams met in the spring of 1999.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-1): Sophomore Sydney Roderick is closing in on the 100-point mark, having accumulated 96 points on 37 goals and 59 assists in 22 career games. Teammates Emma Andrews and Aubrey Borgesi are also closing in on 100 points, though both are still a ways from hitting the mark as each is in the low 80s. Junior Emily Fischer has nearly matched her minutes played total from her first two seasons in 2020 and her numbers this year have been impressive so far. The junior goalkeeper has an 8.01 goals against average and .543 save percentage with 25 saves, including a career-high 15 stops against 23rd-ranked SUNY Geneseo on Saturday.

Key Stats for Brockport (1-1): Suffering its first loss of the season this weekend, the Golden Eagles have only faced ranked opponents so far this year, beating top-25 Dennison and falling to top-20 Ithaca. Graduate student Heather Conklin surpassed the 200-point mark for her career on Saturday and the two-time all-region player is off to a strong start with eight points on five goals and three assists to go along with eight groundballs and 10 draw controls. Chloe Kurst is tied with Conklin for the team lead in points with eight (six goals and two assists). The pair combined for more than 160 points a year ago and when teammate Allison Jennings is added to the mix, that group produced 156 goals in 2019.
