Kather Picked for CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

After a standout year on both the field in the classroom, senior Madison Kather of the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team was chosen as a CoSIDA Academic All-District 3 selection when the organization announced its award winners on Thursday afternoon.

Kather becomes the 10th student-athlete from the Golden Knights' Women's Soccer program to earn the academic honor since 1995, but just the second since 2012.

Through six semesters at Clarkson, Kather has posted a 3.844 grade point average with a double major in mechanical engineering and mathematics. The senior forward finished her career ranked 12th all-time in points with nine goals and 10 assists for 28 points. Eleven of those points came during her senior campaign when she finished second on the team in goals (4) and points (11) while leading the squad in both assists (3) and game-winning goals (3). Kather also tied for first in shots (20) and placed second in shots on goal (12).
