Top 10 Clarkson Highlights - #10 John Coleman Selected NCAA Top 10

The Top 10 Clarkson University Athletic Department Highlights of 2015-16 were carefully selected by the Clarkson Sports Information Staff. Top 10 Clarkson highlights will be posted on Mondays throughout the summer.

John Coleman probably earned more athletic and academic accolades than any other student-athlete in Clarkson University history. An All-American in basketball, a four-time all-star in baseball, the player of the year in both sports, a five-time CoSIDA Academic All-American, and the Liberty League Rookie of the Year in two sports as a freshman were just the tip of the iceberg for awards that Coleman claimed in his four years at Clarkson.

However, his most significant honor actually came after his graduation from Clarkson. Thanks to earning Capital One Academic All-American of the Year in both baseball and basketball, Coleman's name was passed on to the NCAA where he was chosen a 2016 Today's Top 10 Award winner in January, making the 2015 graduate eligible for being mentioned among Clarkson's Top 10 Memories from 2015-16.
