June 7 Marks Clarkson Athletics Golf Tournament

The Clarkson University Athletic Department will hold its 11th Annual Summer Golf Outing on Friday, June 7 at the Crowne Plaza Resort and Golf Club in Lake Placid.

Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Shot gun start at Noon on the Mountain Course at the Crowne Plaza Resort & Golf Club. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the dinner reception at 6:30 p.m. and awards presentation at 7:00 p.m.

The tournament will utilize a Captain and Crew Scramble format, where each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their next shot from that spot. Teams of 5 may only use 4 golfers per hole.

First, second, and third placed teams awards including complimentary admission to next year’s contest and the John Bradshaw Memorial Golf Outing in August. There will be prizes given for Men’s and Women’s Longest Drive, Men’s and Women’s Closest-to-the-Pin, a Hole-in-One Contest, and Skins game that is included in the registration fee. There will be a 50/50 Raffle and door prizes given during dinner.
