Sophomore utility player Jerry Coleman (Potsdam, NY) had an outstanding start to his second collegiate season with the Clarkson University Baseball team, and was rewarded with Liberty League Performer of the Week honors on Monday.
Coleman, who has caught, played outfield, first base, and pitched in Florida over the past four days, started the first four games of the season well, going 11-for-16 (.688 batting average) with a 1.188 slugging percentage thanks to two home runs and a triple. He also drove in six runs and scored seven times.
