The Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse program has announced the hiring of Kindra Catalano as the top assistant coach for the 2009-10 season.
Catalano, who earned her degree in psychology in 2005 from Elmira College, spent six years as an assistant coach with the Soaring Eagles, starting with a four-year run as the student assistant and then two seasons as the team’s main assistant coach following her graduation. During her two years as the top assistant, Elmira amassed a record of 17-16, including an 11-7 record in 2006.
Aside from coaching with Elmira, Catalano served as an assistant coach with the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich, CT, in the spring of 2008. A Presidential Scholarship Recipient and member of Psi Chi (Psychology Honor Society), Catalano also earned numerous all-academic honors while playing with the Elmira field hockey squad.
