Anyone who thinks Amy Lane, a former standout on the Clarkson University Cross Country and Nordic Ski teams, is a wimp should go with her on a run ... a long run.  In her first 100-mile race, and despite not being able to ingest any food for the final 35 miles, the 29 year old from Westfield, MA placed sixth among the women at the Vermont 100 in Brownsville Sunday.
