Potsdam, NY - Mike Hooker scored a second-half goal to give Potsdam State a 1-0 win, its sixth win ever over the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team on Tuesday afternoon at Potsdam's Turf Field.

The Golden Knights fell to 3-10-2 overall while Potsdam improved to 5-11-1. Clarkson hasn't beaten Potsdam State since 2004, but holds a 32-6-2 record all-time against the Bears through 40 meetings.

Hooker scored the game-winning goal in the 71st minute to give the Bears the win. Garrett Lee earned the assist for Potsdam.

The constant drizzle throughout Tuesday's contest reduced the offensive opportunities for both teams as the Bears narrowly out shot the Knights 8-6. Clarkson held an 8-4 edge in corner kicks.

Johnathon Rushing (Paw Paw, MI) made two saves in the first half and Mike St. Croix (Watertown, NY) stopped four shots in the second half. Tyler Lattimore made three saves for the Bears.
