Geneseo, NY - Defending Liberty League Defender of the Week David Hennessey (Wading River, NY) stopped 10 shots for the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team, but two shots from Geneseo got past the sophomore goaltender as the Golden Knights lost 2-0 Friday afternoon.

Clarkson fell to 1-3 overall while the Blue Knights improved to 3-0. The Golden Knights face the University of Rochester tomorrow afternoon.

The Blue Knights out shot Clarkson 25-11 and had a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks. Andy Rice scored for Geneseo at the 29:06 mark in the first half on a penalty kick and Taylor Smith scored an unassisted goal at the 57:40 mark in the second half.
